Vaishali Mhade is an Indian playback singer who was noticed in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest. She was just then a voice from a small village. Her voice had enchanted the judges who were invited for the television programme. Her melodious voice impressed learned judges, music directors, and she became the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, held in Mumbai. She also won the Maratha version of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2008. She also won the mega challenge of Zee TV in 2010. Later on, she did stage shows for Himesh Reshmiya and Bappi Lahiri. Indian musical reality TV game show- Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- which started in 1995, had paved the way for various new generation singers like Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal in Bollywood. Their rise to popularity allowed many contestants to walk into the show and carve a niche for themselves.

Konkona Sen Sharma is a Bollywood actress hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal. She was born on 3 December 1979 in a Bengali family. She completed her schooling at the Calcutta International School and later moved to Delhi for a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Delhi University’s most prestigious college- St. Stephen’s. Cinema has already been existent in her genetic roots. Her mother, Aparna Sen, is a noted actress and director in Bengali cinema. Moreover, she is the granddaughter of Chidananda Dasgupta, a film critic who also established the Calcutta Film Society. In 1983, the four-year-old Konkona was first seen on the big screen in a Bengali film titled ‘Indira’. Her official Tollywood debut was in 2000 in ‘Ek Je Aachhe Kanya,’ for which she was awarded at the Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards (2002).

Huma Qureshi is a model-turned-actress in Bollywood. Before making her debut in films, she has appeared in some commercial advertisements that had featured two B-town superstars Amir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. While she was shooting for an advertisement, director Anurag Kashyap offered her a role in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. 

Monali Thakur is a Kolkata-born playback singer and actress. Born in a musical family, Monali's father is a renowned Bengali Playback singer and her sister, Mehuli Thakur, is also a Playback singer. Monali's singing talent was initially recognized when she'd won the Best Playback Singer award at the 'Amandalok Awards', for the serial 'Sri Rama Krishna' at the age of 14. She'd been trained under Padma Shri Pandit Jagdish Prasad and Padma Shri Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty for Hindustani music. Monali's singing career started when she auditioned for Indian Idol 2 (the Indian version of Pop Idol) in 2005. Monali had been well acclaimed for her singing by the judging panel that included Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam, and Farah Khan.

Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Deepti Naval belongs to India. She is an actress, a director, painter, writer and a photographer. Her family belongs to Amritsar, Punjab. Deepti was born in Amritsar. She acted in more than 90 Indian films. She started her career in 1980 by acting in an Indian film Ek Baar Phir and her services in the industry were first recognized due to her brilliant performance in her first movie. Shweta Tripathi was born on the 6th of July in the year 1985 in Delhi. She spent most of her early life in Delhi except for three years where she lived in Andaman and Nicobar islands. She studied in the school DPS RK Puram after which, she went on to study at NIFT in Delhi. Harshaali Malhotra is a model and a child actress who has worked in some Hindi daily soaps as well as some Bollywood movies as well. She has acted in hit television series Qubool Hai but shot to fame after her spectacular performance of a Pakistani mute girl, Munni in Salman Khan starrer, Bajangi Bhaijaan. She was born on March 6, 2008 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her mother is Kajal Malhotra and father’s name is Vipul Malhotra. She also has a younger brother who is named Hardik Malhotra. Kalki Koechlin is a famous film actress, model and screenwriter, known for working in Hindi films. She is one of the richest actresses of Indian film industry and is a celebrated diva of Bollywood. Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and model. She was born on 5th January 1986. Deepika is one of the most famous celebrities. She is working in Bollywood films and won two film fare awards. She is the daughter of the badminton trouper Prakash Padukone. Copenhagen was the birth place of Deepika. She was raised in Bangalore. She frolicked badminton in national level championship in her teenage but later on she switched her career from spots and became a model. Born in an army family to Col. AjayKumar and AshimaSharma on May 1st 1988, Anushka Sharma has excelled in her career as an actress. Upon graduating from Mount Carmel College, she set her eyes in the modeling world. Her breakthrough came when she modeled for Wendell Rodricks at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2007. She at the time had no such aspirations to become an actress.

A. R. Rahman is a Legendary Music Composer, prominently known for his rocking music for the movie “The Slumdog Millionaire”. He had won a couple of Oscars for this album and made India proud. Mohit Chauhan is a Bollywood playback singer. He was born on March 11, 1966 at Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, India. He was also a previous front-man of the band, Silk Route. Mohit is fluent in Pahari, Hindi and English languages. He went to St. Xavier’s School in Delhi and then he came to Himachal Pradesh to finish his studies. He graduated college with a Master of Science in Geology at Dharamsala College. 

Gajraj Rao is an Indian actor and filmmaker. He made his first appearance in the film industry in the early 90s through the acclaimed biographical drama Bandit Queen portraying the character of Ashok Chand. Since then Gajraj Rao has been playing various supporting roles in different movies.

Loy Mendonsa is an Indian pianist, musician, and singer. He is more renowned as the member of the trio group Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, which he co-founded with singer Shankar Mahadevan and guitarist-singer Ehsaan Noorani. His career initially began for Doordarshan productions, where he composed the theme song of “The World This Week” show. Before the formation of his trio group, Loy has worked with the Indian music great A.R.Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan.

Anu Malik is considered as one of the most famous and successful music directors from film industry. He has also established his name as a singer. He began his career as a music director in 1977. He gave the music for the film Hunterwali. He became famous in 1990s by delivering the blockbusters like Baazigar,Janam and so on. We can say 1990 to 2000s was the golden period of his career. He was awarded a National Award for his phenomenal music for the film Refugee. His other blockbusters were Shah Rukh Khan starrer Mai Hoon Na and Baazigar . This movie gave him a Filmfare Award of Best Music Director. He has made a record of winning this trophy for 6 times. Anu Malik has given his versatile music for more than 350 films. He is considered as the most promising music director from the industry. So his songs like Garam Chaye Ki Pyali, Mehbooba Mehbooba, Gori Gori are some of the most famous songs from his compositions. He has also successfully played the role of a judge in the reality show Indian Idol. And has also made a presence in many T.V. shows. Anu Malik has successfully tried many gener in his compositions from a soulful love song to a dance number. He has different style of composition.

Ehsaan Noorani is one of the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio, composing of three talented Indian musicians namely Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan himself and Loy Mendonsa. He is a popular music composer and guitarist. 

Varun Grover is a comedian, screenwriter, and even lyricist. The actor was born on 26 January 1980. Basically, he was a software engineer in a software firm in Mumbai, but he afforded to step down from the post and got connected with the film industry.

Shankar Mahadevan, a well-renowned, talented and famous music composer, and singer. An accomplished musician in Tamil cinema, he is a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music to Bollywood and other International films. He has won various Indian and multiple National Film Award. His most famous albums include, “Breathless“- Album that first gave him fame, including the song, "Breathless," in which he sings throughout the whole song without pausing to breathe and “Nine” - Nine is Shankar's most recent album. Each song is a representation of a "mood," including joy, sadness, love, etc. He was also invited by UNESCO and the US State Department to perform at the UN General Assembly Hall for the finale of the International Jazz Festival on 30 April 2012 which is a thing of pride. Shankar has always considered himself as a restless student wanting to learn more every time. He says he’s thirsty and want to learn every time and experiment with something new. He wants to be a perfectionist. Shanker also feels that Karnatak music is the most powerful form of music and he himself started with Karnataka classic which he says is the best to create a prominent base for music. Music is the thing which excites Shanker the most, and he would always be attached to it. Personal Life: Shanker Mahadevan was born in Chennai to a Tamil family but was later brought to Mumbai and was raised there. Being born into a Tamil family and later raised in Mumbai, he knows both Hindi and Tamil language but is not well versed with Tamil and Malayalam. He finished his schooling from OLPS High School in Chembur and his engineering in computer science from R.A.I.T (D Y Patil, Navi Mumbai). His wife, Sangeeta is Maharashtrian and oldest son Siddharth Mahadevan. Also, a singer, made his debut on the 2013 Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s song, Zinda. Shankar’s youngest son, Shivam Mahadevan, also a singer made his debut in 2013 in the movie Dhoom 3’s song, Bande Hain Hum Uske. Mahadevan is fluent in Marathi, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu and English.

Shoojit Sircar is an Indian film producer and director born in Kolkata, India. Shoojit is from a Bengali family in Barrackpore from where he completed his schooling.

Amaal Malik (D.O.B- 16 June 1991) is a music composer and playback singer in Bollywood who hails from a family of highly talented musicians. He is the son of Daboo Malik- a well-known face in the music industry, grandson of Sardar Malik, the brother of singer Armaan Malik and the nephew of the famous music director Anu Malik.

Sharat Katariya is an Indian Director and screenwriter. He was born on the 15th of June in the year 1978. He works mainly in Hindi cinema. He started his journey in the industry as an Assistant Director. He helped in the making of the film ‘Raghu Romeo’ which was directed by Rajat Kapoor. He also worked as the lyricist of that film. He has scripted dialogues for movies like ‘Sunglass’ and ‘Bheja Fry’. Sharat was also a part of the popular franchise of Vishesh Films. He worked with Kunal Bijaykar on ‘Fruit and Nut’ which was also Kunal’s directorial debut. Under the banner of Vishesh Films, he has also got an opportunity to work with Deven Khote. Sharat’s debut as an Assistant was in the flick ‘Rok Sako To Rok Lo’. Sharat has also directed multiple short films.

Born on 24th February 1963, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an acclaimed Indian multi-faceted personality; he is a producer, director, screenwriter, and music director. He studied at the Film and Television Institution of India. The middle name Leela is from the name of Bhansali’s mother, Leela.

“Kanu Behl” was born on June 13, 1980, to ‘Navnindra’ and ‘Lalit Behl’ who both are writer-actor-directors. He spent the majority of his childhood in Patiala, Punjab. In 1990, he moved to Delhi and got admission in Apeejay School, Noida. He did his Bachelors Degree in Business from one of the most esteemed colleges of Delhi University- ‘Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies’. In 2003, he completed his Diploma in Cinema from ‘Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute’. While enrolled at the Institute, he made a documentary ‘An Actor Prepares’ which entered Cinema Du Reel, a documentary film festival in France. Harshavardhan Kulkarni is a Bollywood Director, who stands out for taking unconventional films. This Engineer-turned-Director entered into the field of Cinema in the year 2006. Kulkarni is a multitalented person. Besides Direction, he is also into writing and Production. He started his career in the year 2006, by writing the screenplay of the Telefilm, named The Chosen One. The flick was directed by Vinil Mathew.

Abhishek Dogra is currently a director of Arbaaz Khan Production Pvt. Ltd. and has directed the Sonam Kapoor starter Dolly Ki Doli. The guy aged 30+ has made his debut film Dolly Ki Doli with the production house of Arbaaz Khan who has delivered some great blockbusters in the recent past. Abhishek Dogra’s debut film has received some positive reviews from the public and the industry directors which in turn has made him sign a three-year open contract with Arbaaz Khan Production Ltd which is a positive sign for the young and talented director who is looking to make some great movies in the years to come.

Vaibbhav Tatwawdi is a Hindi and Marathi film actor who was born on 25th of September, 1988 in Maharashtra, India. His parents are Dr. Vivek Tatwawadi and Sheela. He has a younger brother named Gaurav Tatwawadi. His father is the head of an Indian Engineering college and his mother is a homemaker. He studied in the Somalwar High School. After completing school, he joined the College of Engineering, Pune and obtained his Engineering degree. He had a desire to become an actor since his childhood. During his college days, he involved actively in the stage plays and dramas. In 2011, after completing his Engineering degree, he moved to Mumbai and tried to find work in Indian film industry. However, he started his career as a film actor in 2014 with “Surajya”. Surajya is a production of Santhosh Manjrekar and Vaibbhav received good reviews from critics and viewers for his acting. Followed by the success of “Coffee Ani Barach Kahi”, his second film release in 2015 was “Hunterrr”. Hunterrr is directed by Harshavardhan G. Kulkarni and it’s an adult comedy movie. Vaibbhav did a supporting role as Kshitij and the film was a Bollywood hit. Some of his upcoming Marathi movies are “Cheater”, “Lipstick Wale Sapne” and “Shortcut”. Lipstick Wale Sapne is a production of Prakash Jha. Vaibbhav shares the screen space with critically acclaimed actors like Konkana Sen and Ratna Pathak Shah in this movie. At present, he is involved in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and he played the role of Chimaji Appa.

Sanjay Mishra is an Indian comedian, most famous for his role as Apple Singh, featured in the ESPN Star Sports during the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Apart from that, he has acted in countless other Bollywood films, his most famous roles being Dil Se (1998), Ankhon Dekhi (2013) and Jolly LLB (2013) to name a few.

The Padma Shri award winner who shot to fame with his role in the 1986 blockbuster film ‘Naam’, which told the story of a poor family that struggled to make ends meet, was born on 30th May 1950 in Mumbai. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born in Budhana in Muzaffarpur district of Western UP on May 19, 1974. He grew up with seven brothers and two sisters in his native village. He is a science graduate from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar and after completion of his graduation, he worked as a chemist in a factory for a short while. He did not like the job and hence leaving it proceeded to Delhi to find some other job which might interest him. As he could not find a suitable job in Delhi, he even worked as a watchman for his survival. Within a short while, he watched theatres and felt interested in it. He joined a theatre group and started studying the art of acting. He graduated in acting from National School of Drama in 1996 and relocated to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting.

Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, India. Bachchan's father was a prestigious Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh socialite. Being his parents’ first born, he has a junior male sibling resembling to his name Ajitabh. Bachchan went to Sherwood College before enlisting in Delhi University to complete his B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. He became a cargo dealer in Calcutta after completing his graduation. Amitabh Bachchan married to Jaya Bhaduri and has one son named Abhishek and one daughter named Shweta. Bachchan's father passed on in 2003 and his mother in 2007.

In 1969, Bachchan made his film debut in Saat Hindustani a film administered by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas which won him the National Film Award for Best Newcomer. By the early 1970s, Bachchan had collected fame in crowds as the "Angry Young Man" in an arrangement of successful Hindi gimmick movies. His featuring part in Zanjeer was especially instrumental in propelling him to fame as an action-movie film legend. Amitabh didn’t stopped gaining fame and popularity and soon he delivered another successful movie Anand in 1971. Anand was followed by movies like Reshma Aur Shera and Parwana in the same year.

Being family friend with Rajiv Gandhi, he got an opportunity to choose to run for seat in the Congress from the place where he grew up. He challenged Allahabad's seat of eighth Lok Sabha against H. N. Bahuguna, previous Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and won by one of the highest victory margins in history (68.2% of the vote). His political life, on the other hand, was fleeting in view of debates especially after Rajiv and he were embroiled in the now scandalous "Bofors" case alongside the U.K. based Hinduja Brothers.

In 1997, Bachchan endeavored to make his acting comeback with the film Mrityudata, produced by ABCL. However, the film was a disappointment both fiscally and basically. His vocation was spared with a successful film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998)”. In 2000, Bachchan facilitated the first season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)”. His hard work guaranteed his prosperity and now he is known as the "King of Bollywood".
