Vaishali Mhade is an Indian playback singer who was noticed in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest. She was just then a voice from a small village. Her voice had enchanted the judges who were invited for the television programme. Her melodious voice impressed learned judges, music directors, and she became the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, held in Mumbai. She also won the Maratha version of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2008. She also won the mega challenge of Zee TV in 2010. Later on, she did stage shows for Himesh Reshmiya and
Bappi Lahiri. Indian musical reality TV game show- Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- which started in 1995, had paved the way for various new generation singers like
Sunidhi Chauhan and
Shreya Ghoshal in Bollywood. Their rise to popularity allowed many contestants to walk into the show and carve a niche for themselves.
Vaishali Mhade was also a winner of ZEE TV’s reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa challenge in 2009. This singer was born on August 24, 1984, in Hinganghat, Maharashtra. After winning the contest, she got an opportunity to lend her voice for a title song in Marathi daily soap, 'Kulvadhu', a popular show aired on Zee Marathi. In 2011, she got a chance to sing a song composed by
Himesh Reshammiya for his film ‘Damadamm’ in which the music composer himself had acted as an actor. Besides Himesh Reshammiya, She also has sung for
Aadesh Shrivastava for her private album Sukoon released in 2012. She started her career as a singer when she was just ten years old. She also got trained under a renowned playback singer
Suresh Wadkar from whom she learnt classical music. She likes even western music. Her success in Bollywood has been slow indeed. But who knows about the future? She may achieve her goal even later. She is a devotee of Lord Ganapati( Lord Ganesha). Quite humble in nature, she is now married to Anant Mhade, and has a girl child too. She had sung for many private albums in her career.
