Gajraj Rao is an Indian actor and filmmaker. He made his first appearance in the film industry in the early 90s through the acclaimed biographical drama Bandit Queen portraying the character of Ashok Chand. Since then Gajraj Rao has been playing various supporting roles in different movies.

He has depicted differing roles on the silver screen including Dil Se..., No smoking and Aamir. Some of the Bollywood movies in which he played acclaimed roles include Rangoon (2017), Blackmail (2018), Aks (2001), Black Friday (2007), Dil Hai Tumhara (2007), Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005), Chhal (2007), Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar (2000).

He is the co-head of the ad making firm Code Red Films that is known for being the creative hand behind the famous commercials of Red label tea, Haier and Veedol tractor engine oils.
