Ganesh Acharya is an Indian choreographer, who is mainly seen in Hindi films. His father Gopi was also a choreographer in Bollywood. When Ganesh Acharya was ten years old, his father died. His sister was at Cuttack and he went there and learnt basic dance from his sister. Later, he joined as an assistant to Kamalji, the famous choreographer. At the young age of 12, he started his own dance troupe. Anaam was his first film as a choreographer. It was released in 1992 and Ganesh Acharya was 21 years, when he became a choreographer for films.

He got the Best choreographer Award for the film Lajja in the year 2001. He has also won the Zee TV Award for the best Choreographer for the movie Khaki in 2004. Shiamak Davar, the well-known Choreographer of Indian origin, is the one who first introduced the western dance form in India. The dancer is born to Nani Davar and Puran Davar. Born and brought up in Mumbai, with siblings Shireen Davar and Darab Davar, the dance lover had early dreams of having dance as a career. He has known as the ‘guru of contemporary dance’ in India. He recently choreographed the dance numbers in Mission Impossible 4. The contemporary dance guru has choreographed many award functions such as the Filmfare Awards and the IIFA Awards. He has worked and made actors like Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Sushant Singh Rajput dance to every beat possible. The dancer and choreographer were born in the year 1961 and had a passion for dance from the very childhood. Despite his age, his passion does not die, nor his love for this work. For the flick Dil toh Pagal Hai, he won the National Award best choreographer award in the year 1997. Geeta Kapoor is a renowned choreographer who is judging various dancing competition shows on Indian television.   Geeta Kapoor is a popular television personality who started her career as a choreographer for stage shows, Bollywood movies, and television programs. She began as a choreographer at the age of fifteen when she joined the team of successful Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan who mentored her. Geeta Kapoor worked with Farah Khan as an assistant choreographer in various Bollywood projects including Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Main Hoon Na, Kal Ho Na Ho, and Om Shanti Om. She joined the troupe of Farah Khan. Farah Khan is also a well renowned choreographer. Geeta joined her group at the age of 15. They did many dance numbers in bollywood together. She assisted Farah in many films like Dil Toh Pagal Hain, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Mohabbatein, Kal Ho Na Ho, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om etc. Geeta was also the background dancer in many songs like “Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aaye” from movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, “Gori Gori” from Main Hoon Na etc. She also did choreography of many Bollywood songs.
