1. Alaipayuthe: -

Love is a four letter word that makes the world spin. A movie directed by Mani Ratnam is itself enough to the public. The film is a beautiful story between the actor ‘R Madhavan’ and Shalini Ajith Kumar who are in love and get married against their parents will. The film then unfolds the struggles and fights they have and eventually get separated. Shalini then encounters an accident and Madhavan comes back to take care of her.

2. 'Moonu': -

Moonu is a Tamil movie directed by 'Aishwarya R Dhanush' starring ‘Dhanush’ and Shruti Haasan. The movie is about how teenage love evolves into a beautiful marriage. They get married and live a luxurious life. Dhanush gets diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder and commits suicide. The movie is about the true love a man has for his women. The rest of the film is about how Shruti Haasan takes up the death of her man.

3. Kandukonden Kandukonden: -

The film is about three different Love stories. An innocent love story between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and ‘Abbas’. A one-sided love story of ‘Mammootty’ on Aishwarya Rai. A realistic love story between Ajith Kumar and ‘Tabu’. Abbas cheats on Aishwarya Rai after making her fall for him, Mammootty then comforts her, and eventually they get married.

4. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa: -

Who would not love a movie directed by Gautham Menon; the movie is a very natural and a realistic love story of 'Silambarasan'. Trisha Krishnan is the actress who accepts him after a long time and eventually breaks up due to family situations. It’s a sad love story. This film got great recognition for its music mainly. The film Ekk Deewana Tha in Hindi is a remake of this movie.

5. Mouna Ragam: -

This movie is a cherished and most appreciated one for its beautiful love story. The acting of ‘Mohan’ and ‘Revathi’ is great. Revathi during college befriends Karthik Muthuraman. The friendship blooms to be love eventually and Karthik dies in between. Revathi is in a situation to take care of her life, and is expected to get married. Having Karthik in her heart she gets married to Mohan with who she lives a forced life. The film later is about how Mohan takes care of her and them eventually things change.

6. Raja Rani: -

This cinema is on the theme “There is love after love failure.” Raja Rani is a film with strong emotions of love. A look into the love life of the married couple before marriage. Regina (‘Nayantara’) falls in love with Surya (‘Jai’) and due to being from two different religion, his father disagrees on their marriage and Surya lies to Regina through his friend that he passed away. Regina gets married to John just for keeping her father happy. John (‘Arya’) is also a depressed man who lost his lover Keerthana (Nazriya Nazim) after marriage. This unprepared marriage gets very lovable after confessing their love lives and living with it without any awkwardness.

7. Kaakha Kaakha: -

Kaakha Kaakha movie is a perfect movie to watch with the one you love. Anbuselavan (Suriya Sivakumar) is the male lead of the film and Maya (Jyothika Saravanan) is the female lead. He is a fearless police who does not care about anything or anybody because he has no family, unlike other police officers who should live in fear before committing any action. Maya enters his life and he is disturbed and he proposes her, the usual Gautham Menon’s touch is there where Jyothika dies after being attacked by the Villain in order to take revenge on Suriya.

8. Sillunu Oru Kaadhal: -

Sillunu Oru Kaadhal is one among the movies the couple (Suriya and Jyothika) acted together. Surya is a happy man in his marriage with Jyotika in the movie and then on reading the Diary of Surya’s college life she is shattered on figuring out his past relationship. She then confesses this to him, and she decides to make him be with Bhumika Chawla, his Ex-Lover for few days in their place itself and then comes back after few days. The trust and love between the couple are something that is very rare.

9. Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada: -

This movie is directed by Gautham Menon; It’s the first sight first love kind of story. Leela (Manjima Mohan), the actress, is Rajinikanth (Silambarasan) sister’s friend in the movie. Leela plans to stay at his place with his sister for working on a research, Simbu starts seeing her and then ends up falling in love with her as she stays at his place and they have many conversations. He sits and admires her every day and talks about her to his friends. They say everything is fair in Love and War; this is its theme. Leela gets chased by a group of Villains and they kill her parents, she rings up Simbu after he is admitted in the hospital. Simbu goes to Kolhapur to save her and fights all the villains.

10. ‘Kumki’: -

Kumki is otherwise known as a wild love story. The film is set in the forest atmosphere where Boman (Venkat Prabhu) is an elephant trainer who visit’s the forest in order to save the population with his Elephant from the Wild Elephant that causes destruction in the living area. He falls in love with the Chieftain’s daughter Alli (Lakshmi Menon); they are madly in love with each other. One day Guilt builds up Boman for cheating the Chieftain and the village men by lying about his elephant being wild. His elephant is rather a pet and does not know to fight; he then decides to let go off Alli after seeing the respect the Chieftain has for him. He makes up his mind and forgets Alli and is grateful to the chieftain.
