The movie has been adapted from one of the stories of ‘India’s Most Fearless’, which was jointly written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.

Major Mukund Varadarajan was an illustrious officer from the Rajput Regiment, before he joined the 44 Rashtriya Rifles. Mukund Varadarajan proved his valor multiple times, before he sacrificed his life in a counter terrorist operation on 25 April 2014. He was posthumously rewarded with an Ashoka Chakra for his actions the next year.
