Tabu is a wonderful gift to the Indian cinema. She is a good performer in Tamil, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and Telugu films. Tabu was born in Hyderabad to Rizwana and Jamal Hashmi. After that, she performed in Kaalapani opposite to Mohan Lal. This film was a super hit and Tabu was accepted in the south Indian film industry. Kandukonden Kandukonden, the blockbuster Tamil movies. Snehithiye was led by Jyotika, in which Tabu had a great role as a Police Officer. She has done justice to the role given to her. Similarly, in Kandukonden Kandukonden, she performed extremely well with
Ajith Kumar, Mammooty and Aishwarya Rai. In 2001, she acted in the Hindi film Chandni Bar, which acclaimed her the Best Actress and won the National Award for her. She is one among the few actresses who got the National Award for more than once. Her latest movie was Haider, in which she got the best supporting actress award from the Film Fare.
