Manjima Mohan is an Indian film actress who has mostly worked in Malayalam cinema. She did her first movie when she was just five with the movie Kaaliyoonjal in 1998. She did her secondary education from Nirmala Bhavan Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Later, she went to Chennai to pursue the degree in Maths Hons. from a Chennai college, Stella Maris College, Tamil Nadu.
She worked for three years as a child actor in movies like Madhuranombarakattu and Priyam. Madhuranombarakattu made her win the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. After this, she had taken a break so that she can concentrate on her studies. In her final days at college, directors and script writers of
Oru Vadakkan Selfie approached her.
Though, she had no plans to resume her acting career, she loved the script of the movie and couldn't say no. Her character was Daisy, who she said was silent, poised and also a bookworm character that was very different from her real life personality. This movie was directed by G. Prajith. The movie became one of the first blockbuster hits in 2015.

Gautham Menon, a director who loved the work she did in the movie "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" and made her to cast only after an audition.
