Born on 4th May, 1983 in Palakkad by Krishnan and Uma Krishnan as her parents. Before starting her carrer in modelling and acting, she did her schooling from Sacred Heart Matriculation school in Church Park and then BBA from Ethiraj College for Women (Chennai). She entered into film industry after making a mark as a model and winning several beauty pageants like Miss Salem and Miss Madras in the same year. In 2001, she won Miss India Pageant “Beautiful Smile” award. She got her first acting break in Tamil film Jodie. After that, she got her first lead role in Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002) opposite Surya and won critical acclaim. Then, she continued to work in number of successful films like Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004), Varsham (2004)and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), Adavari Matalku Ardhalu Verule (2007) are some of the films to win Award. She made her Bollywood debut with Khatta Meetha.She also done the number of advertisements like Fair and Lovely and Josco Jeweller.IShe appeared in Mani Ratnam's Aayitha Ezhuthu which was remade into a hit Hindi movie Yuva. Her later movie Aaru was received well by critics and both dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and producepd by Saran.She is endorsing some famous brands like Fanta India, Scooty Pep+, Fiama Di Wills.Apart from this she also the Goodwill Ambasador of PETA.

Vimala Raman is a renowned model and actress. She is also known for her skills in Bharatnatyam dance. She is basically from Sydney, Australia. She was born on 23rd January 1982. She basically belongs from south India. Along with her education, she also got trained in an Indian classical dance form, that is, Bharatanatyam. She took her training in Natanalaya Dance Academy which is based in Sydney. She took her lesson in this dance form under the training of Jayalakshmi Kandiah. In the year 2006, she came into the limelight of the Indian cinema with a Tamil film, 'Poi'. After her debut, she went on doing South Indian films like, her first Malayalam film was ' Time'. Besides acting in the South Indian films, she also had acted in some Hindi films too. In 2013, she acted as Jia, in a Hindi film, ' Mumbai Mirror'. It was directed by Ankush Bhatt. She also acted in 'Meri Warrant' in 2010. In 2016, she will be seen in the film, 'Afra Tafri', directed by Haadi Abrar. In this film, she is casted with some renowned actors of Bollywood, like Govinda, Sunil Shetty, MugdhaGodse and Gulshan Grover. With her popularity in the south Indian movies, she has started to act in the Bollywood movies.
