VJ RG RAM was born in Coimbatore on April 27, 1994, son of Ravichandran and Janaki, and later relocated to Madurai. He did his education at VHN higher secondary school. Despite being an engineering student, he had a love for media. Thus he planned and began his media career as a video jockey at a local channel in Karur in 2014. (VANAVIL PLUS). He ultimately landed in Tunes 6 after many fights and hardships and began his career in the entertainment world. He presented a live show called "selfie request," a popular show associated with social network's selfie videos. He did a morning live show called ‘’Chennai Meter’’, a hilarious and educational show that is caller-based and family-oriented.
VJ Ram worked in Wirally Tamil, which is a popular site for light-hearted and feel-good material. He also featured in a comedy vine on the channel I'm stupid. In addition, he featured in a commercial for Tint wedding photography. Ram has previously worked on Breath Out Himalayas, A Himalayan Travelogue Series, in which he visits several locations and reviews them, informing the audience which location is superior.
