Snigdha Chandra is an Indian playback singer and lyricist who has worked mainly in Tamil film industry. Mudinja Ivana Pudi, Kotigobba 2, Sigaram Thodu, Indumathi, Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga, Jilla etc. are the films that she worked.

Madhumitha or Jangiri Madhumitha is a Tamil Serial and Film actress who was born on January 1, 1986 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She was first seen in the comedy series, Lollu Sabha on STAR Vijay. Born on 4th January 1982 Jiiva is one of the young talents in Tamil industry. He is the son of noted producer R B Choudary. Jiiva’s original name is Amar B Choudary and Hindi is his mother tongue. Quite expectedly Jiiva was introduced into films as a child actor by his father. It was in 2003 that he was the main lead in the film Aasai Aasaiyai. He was born in a middle-class family to Ramasamythevar and Angammal in Mettur. His family moved to Vadugapatti, Theni in Tamil Nadu when he was four years old. Shenbagaraj is an upcoming Kollywood singer who is based in Chennai. Lately, he has also sung a Telugu film song too. He made his debut as a playback singer in the Tamil movie 'Jilla' which is directed by T. Nesan. It stars Mohanlal, Vijay, and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. His best films are Thillu Mullu, Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara etc. Film lovers today prefer more subtle comedic performers and even opt for a slapstick actor, who can crack jokes in every second of the movies. In that sense, hope Soori will not let down his fans in his near future.

R B Choudary was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is professionally a producer and has produced many movies in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. He is the CEO of Super Good Films. He debuted in 1988 when he produced the Malayalam film, ‘Adipapam’. It did not do any good to him but gave him a lot of experience, and he learned many things out of this.

R. T. Neason is an eminent Indian writer and film director. He was born on July 5, 1972, in Bodinayakannur, Tamil Nadu in India. He studied at Sainik School Amaravathinagar, Tamil Nadu and later took Bachelor in Commerce at the Madras University. He also took Direction and Screenplay Specialization at the Film and Television Institute of Madras. Neason is married to Lakshmi, and they have two daughters namely Akshara and Adithi. He has been an assistant director to Tamil film director, Vincent Selva and has worked in films like Iraniyan (1999), Prematho Raa (2001), Thavasi (2001), and Ondagona Baa (2003). In 2007, he penned and directed the Tamil film, Muruga, which stars Ashok, Shruti Sharma and Samiksha in the lead roles.

Mohan Lal is the Super Star of the Malayalam film industry. He is the Son in Law of a famous producer cum veteran actor Balaji. Mohan Lal is married to Suchithra, the elder daughter of Balaji. Mohan Lal was born in the year 1960 in Elanthoor in Kerala. He is very popular for his natural acting and simplicity. The first movie, he committed was Thiranottam, but the first to release was Manjil Virinja Pookal. This movie had Poornima Jayaram as his pair and that is the debut movie in Malayalam for her too. Rajeevan is a prominent Indian Art Director. He was born as Rajeevan Nambiar on December 31, 1969, in Chennai, India. He completed his studies at Loyola College in Chennai. He was the only child of his parents. His father, who is an educationist, wanted him to follow his path. But when Rajeevan chooses to enter the filmdom, his father got so angry that he did not speak with him for six long years. During college, Rajeevan got involved in stage theaters, sketching, and painting. Later, he worked in some agencies and subsequently works in animation and graphics.

L B Sriram is a renowned Telugu actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He was born as Lanka Bhadradri Sri Ram in the village of Nedunuru, East Godavari. He is the son of Sri Lanka Venkata Rama Sastri Somayaji, a famous Vedic scholar, who received the Rashtrapathi Award in 1994.

Thambi Ramaiah, an Indian film actor, and director is considered as the busiest actors in Kollywod appearing in maximum movies that released in 2014. Once upon a time, he did not even how to make a foray into Kollywood. Anticipating for someone to give a chance in films, he had to wait till his luck could get him a status of an actor. 

Pandi, commonly known as 'Black Pandi,' is a comedy artist from Tamil Nadu. His original name is Lingeswaran. He is famous for his role in his debut television show 'Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’. He is in the field of cinema since the year 2000 and he has appeared in almost twenty-three movies. Some of the movies that he worked were Ghilli, Autograph, Angaadi Theru, Deiva Thirumagal, Velayutham, Saattai, Poojai, Jilla, etc. He belongs to a family of artists, where his ancestors were stage actors for many generations.

Azhagam Perumal is associated with the Tamil film industry as an actor and a director. He belongs to Kulasekharapuram village of Tamil Nadu. Azhagam’s parents wished their son to become an engineer. Azhagam applied for the Adhyar Fillm Institute, situated in Chennai. His family opposed his decision. He made his parents proud by winning the Gold Medal from the Institute when he passed out in 1991. Azhagam started to work with the Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, Mr. Mani Ratnam, as an assistant in 1991. His first movie was the Tamil Crime drama Thalapathi that was released in 1991. He worked as an assistant to Mani Ratnam till 1997, for the movie Iruvar. Azhagam also happened to debut his career in acting with Mani Ratnam’s movie Alaipayuthey that was released in 2000. 

V.I.S. Jayapalan is a writer of Indian origin. He is also a well-known political commentator and an actor who has acted in Tamil films. Born in Uduvil district of Jaffna in Sri Lanka, he gained a degree in Economics from the University of Jaffna and also was the leader of the student union there. His first anthology was published in 1986. After that he went on to publish 12 anthologies of poetry and short fiction.

S P Balasubrahmanyam is still considered to be one among the best musicians in the past three decades, in spite of the surge of various new comers. This legendary singer is reputed for his intense voice, profound knowledge of music, and a style of singing which is appreciated even today. SPB, as he is fondly called, has given his voice for more than 30000 songs. His name is recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records for singing several songs in a short span of time. He has sung the most in Telugu, the next being Tamil. He has also given his beautiful voice for Sanskrit slokas.  

Other than Telugu and Tamil SPB has sung in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada too. SPB also tried his luck as music director in Telugu film industry (he had composed one film Sigaram in Tamil too). 

A south Indian singer becoming successful in Bollywood is quite a feat, but SPB achieved that. In fact, he was the regular for some of Salman Khan’s films including, the musical blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. With his imminent voice, he also shined as a dubbing artist. 

Hailing from Andhrapradesh, SPB comes from a traditional Telugu Brahmin origin. SPB tested waters even in acting. His sister SP Sailaja is also a noted singer. Born on 4th June 1946, SPB gained interest in music very early. He got to know about the flute and harmonium by his own interest. He nevertheless followed the wish of his father and did an AMIE course. During his engineering days SPB took part in various singing competitions and garnered several awards. Music composer S P Kodandapani introduced SPB into singing for films, since he was attracted towards SPB’s voice. 

Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna, a Telugu film, is the debut film (as a singer) of SPB which had music scored by S P Kodandapani. SPB made his foray into acting with the 1969 Telugu flick Pellante Noorella Panta. He worked in character roles in Telugu and Tamil. SPB worked as the dubbing artist for Kamal Haasan in most of his Telugu movies which were dubbed into Tamil. It is no wonder that SPB has several awards to his credit including, the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri and 6 National Awards.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, the popular star in Tollywood, was received well by the entire South audiences with the movie, Sri Ram Rajyam. It is SPB, who dubbed for Balayya in the Tamil version of the film. Besides singing for the movies, SPB rendered his voice to the devotional music albums and the title songs for various TV Series. Nimmadhi Ungal Choice, Sondham, Sorgam, Vazhkai and Nambikkai are some of the series that got hit title songs with SPB’s voice. In 2010, he played in a film, “Naanayam,” as a businessman and his character was entirely different from that of the roles which he played previously. SPB Charan produced the movie. SPB had played in varieties of roles in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies and in TV Series too. "Jannal," a TV Series produced by Veteran director K Balachander was one of his perfect performances.

His latest film appearance was in the year 2018 with the Telugu film, Devadas featuring Akkineni Nagarjuna and “Nani” in the lead roles. The awards and honors received by SPB couldn’t be listed out on a single page. He had bagged a lot of awards from almost all the leading languages in which he worked.  SPB’s latest hit song in Tamil is Chumma Kizhi for Rajini in “Darbar,” which released in 2020. He reunited with “Ilaiyaraaja” in “Thamilarasan,” a movie featuring Vijay Antony. Devadas Parvathi is a film, which has a song by SPB and NV Arun composed the music. In Telugu, Nuvvu Naatho Emannavo from the film Disco Raja composed by S Thaman, was a super hit in 2020. Of late, he had also crooned in Palasa 1978, Cheema Prema Madhyalo Bhaama, Ayyappa Kataaksham, Neekosam and Badugu Jeevulu in Telugu.

SPB was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai in August 2020, due to the coronavirus attack. He had also posted a video about his recovery. Soon, it was announced that he tested negative of Coronavirus and his fans had a sigh of relief. However, he suffered from breathing issues and had been on life support for nearly a month. Group prayers were hosted and people across the world, who love him for his songs and his down to earth nature, prayed for him to get well soon. But, his health deteriorated on 24^th September 2020 and the legend breathed his last at 1:04 pm on 25^th September 2020, leaving his fans, family and friends in pain. SPB will be remembered forever, not only for his songs and acting but for his sweet nature that tied everyone to him.
