Jithan Ramesh

Jithan Ramesh is a Kollywood actor and producer and is also the son of film producer R B Choudhary. He made his debut in Tamil film Jithan (2005). After trying his luck in Kollywood films, the actor has shifted his loyalty to Tollywood now. A film titled ‘4th Degree’ is expected to release in 2016. The film had got delayed and is still in filming stage. 

Though Ramesh met a tremendous success with his first film ‘Jithan’, he could not live up to the expectations of the public. Jithan Ramesh is the brother of actor Jiiva, who is a successful actor in Kollywood. Ramesh produced Jilla in 2014 and had appeared in a cameo role along with his brother Jiiva. Jithan Ramesh is also known as Ramesh Choudary and Githan Ramesh, is an Indian actor and producer of Tamil and Telugu film industry. He made his entry in the Kollywood industry with Jithan in the year 2005. In 2014, he turned a producer for the movie Jilla.  He was born in Chennai and is the son of R. B. Choudary, who happens to be a well-known producer for Telugu and Tamil movies. His brother is Jeeva, who debuted in the industry with Raam in 2005. He belongs to the Naidu community. Jithan went to Gill Adarsh Higher Secondary School in Chennai. He graduated from D.G. Vaishnav College with a degree in Business Administration. 

He debuted in the Tollywood industry with a movie called ' Vidhyarthi.' He made his entry into the Tamil film industry in the year 2005 with the movie ‘Jithan.’  He played the character of Ramesh. The movie did well at the box office and collected Rs 4 Crores. After the success of ‘Jithan,’ he signed many movies.

His next release was in 2006 from the movie ‘Madhu’ as the main lead Madhu opposite Priyamani. In the same year, he acted in ‘Jerry’ in which he played the role of Jayaraman/Jerry. He has done hit work in movies like Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu, Madurai Veeran, Puli Varudhu, which were appreciated by the audience and were successful in the theaters. In the movie Osthe, he paired up Silambarasan to play his brother in the Tamil remake of Hindi film Dabangg.

He got married to Shilpa in 2006. She gave birth to a baby girl Toshna in 2007. The actor is lined up with four movies to release in this year. He is working in a Telugu movie named ‘4th Degree.’ The movie is predicted to be a love story directed by Vamsi krishna. Actress Meera Nandan, who was last seen in Jai Bolo Telangana, will be seen opposite Jithan as his lead actress. His other films include Jithan 2 by Vincent Selva. The movie is a sequel to the debut movie of Ramesh in 2005 ‘Jithan.’ The other two movies are Perunthinai and Samarthan.
