Imman Annachi is one of the most popular television anchors in the history of Tamil Television. He is also a well-known actor and comedian and is best known for his sense of humor. He gained popularity through popular television shows such as 'Kutty Chutties' and 'Sollunganne Sollunga'. He was born as Immanuel in the city of Thiruvaluthinadar Vilai in the district of Thoothukudi in Eral in the state of Tamil Nadu. He was a talented young man since his early life and got his fame and recognition after he appeared on a talk show on Makkal TV.

Imman made his entry into the television screen after being selected by the Tamil Channel Makkal TV to host a show which was popularly known as 'Konjam Arattai Konjam Settai.' He was gradually recognized with the name Imman Annachi and gained some recognition with this show. But it was after his stint with the famous television show 'Solluganne Sollunga' that he had managed to get a very considerate amount of recognition. He had left Makkal TV to join Adithya TV and, later on, got the job of hosting the show. He left his job at Adithya TV and eventually joined the famous Sun Network's Sun TV and started working on the favorite children's show 'Kutty Chutties' on the same channel.

Later on, Imman started appearing in some films and played significant roles. In 2012, he made his appearance in the movie, 'Neerparaval' in the role of 'Annachi.' The film was made by Seenu Ramasamy and starred actors like Vishnu, Sunaina, Manochitra, Nandita Das, etc. In the year 2013, he made appearances in two films, both in which Tamil star Dhanush played the lead. He appeared as 'Kuttyandi' in the movie 'Maryan' while he played the role of a 'tea shop owner' in the film, 'Naiyaandi.' Some of his best-known works are 'Puli' and 'Kakki Sattai' in 2015, and 'Poojai' and 'Jilla' in 2014.

In 2016, Imman Annachi was seen in “Kathakali,” Kathiravanin Kodai Mazhai, “Anjala,” Pandiyoda Galatta Thaangala, Mudinja Ivana Pudi / “Kotigobba 2,” and “Thodari.” The next year, he was showered with films, including Suriya Sivakumar and Anushka Shetty starrer "Singam 3," Maaya Mohini, Theru Naaigal, and Guru Uchchathula Irukkaru. In 2018, he played an important role in "Nimir" with Udhayanidhi Stalin and Namitha Pramod, directed by "Priyadarshan." In the same year, he played in the comedy film "Itly." In 2019, Imman was seen in "Kalavani 2," "Jackpot," and Butler Balu. In 2020, he played in Pachai Vilakku, and “Utraan.” In 2021, he appeared in important roles in "Chasing" with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Kamali From Nadukkaveri. He also appeared in Vijay TV's "Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5" hosted by Kamal Haasan. Other participants of the show are "Isaivani," Priyanka Deshpande, Namitha Marimuthu, Thamarai Selvi, Akshara Reddy, Pavani Reddy, "Suruthi," "Chinnaponnu," "Mathumitha," Abishek Raaja, Abhinay Vaddi, Nadia Chang, Iykki Berry, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, "Niroop," Raju Jeyamohan, and "Varun."
