Vibha Natarajan is an Indian Actress who works in the regional cinema of Southern India. She was born in Chennai, India and completed her schooling from the Bangalore state. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Tourism and Travel. She moved from India to different places during her childhood like Coimbatore and Dubai because of her father’s job at the L&T Company. She is related to Arvind Swamy, a known actor in the cinema industry. Vibha debuted with a Kannada Film “Aata” in 2011 opposite Sumanth Shailendra, who was also a new entrant to the industry. She received mixed reaction to her portrayal of Swathi. She put in four months of efforts to learn the Kannada language in order to play this role. Her next film was in 2012 titled “Leelai”, where she played the role of Gayathri. It was a romance genre film that got its release in 2012, but the shooting mainly took place before in the year of 2008. In this film, her character was that of a friend of the lead Malar played by Manasi Parekh Gohil. The lead was pursued by another character played by Shiv Pandit. She did one more film called “Naan” in 2012 and donned the role of Uma. This was also a Tamil Movie. In 2013, she went on to do two more Tamil movies titled “Mathil Mel Poonai” and “Summa NachunuIrkku” where she played the role of Divya and Anjali respectively. The film “Mathil Mel Poonai” also starred Vijay Vasanth. She is also a part of the much delayed Tamil film “Pesu” which is a musical by Yuvan Shankar Raja that was to release in 2013. This movie is directed by and stars J. Vignesh. Her latest film is named “Sippai” that was filmed in 2015.

Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan

Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan, the homely actress, was born on 30th November 1982 in Chennai. She hails from the cinema background. Vijayalakshmi is the daughter of the award winning director, “Agathiyan” and Radha. Vijayalakshmi has two sisters, an elder one and a younger one. Her elder sister, Karthika Agathiyan was a popular VJ, who worked for Makkal TV. She is married to director “Thiru” of “Samar” fame. Vijayalakshmi’s younger sister Niranjani Agathiyan works as a costume designer in Tamil films. Viji completed her B.Tech degree in SRM Easwari Engineering College. She made her cinema debut in 2007 through Venkat Prabhu directorial venture, “Chennai 600028.” The film about gully cricket was a super hit one in which Vijayalakshmi paired opposite to “Shiva.” Her next movie, “Anjathe” directed by “Mysskin” was a blockbuster hit. She paired “Narain” in the film and their chemistry was well lauded. Her next film was a cameo appearance in “Saroja” under the direction of her mentor, Venkat Prabhu. She played in Adhe Neram Adhe Idam in 2009. In 2010, she shared the screen space with Krishna Kulasekaran in Kattradhu Kalavu. After the film, she was not seen on the silver screen for a couple of years. In 2013, when AMR Ramesh made a Tamil and Kannada bilingual Vana Yuddham / “Attahasa” on Sandalwood brigand Veerappan, Viji was offered to play Muthulakshmi, the wife of Veerappan. It was the first Kannada film for Vijayalakshmi. In the same year, she did a brief role in Karthik Sivakumar, Hansika Motwani and Premgi Amaren starrer “Biriyani.” This is her third film under the direction of Venkat Prabhu. In 2014, the homely star performed in Rendavadhu Padam, Vennila Veedu with Mirchi Senthil and Aadama Jeichomada. In 28th September 2015, Viji entered the wedlock with Feroz Mohammad, an assistant director to Arivazhagan of “Eeram” fame. Vijayalakshmi has also started a production house and her first project is under the direction of her hubby, Feroz. After marriage, Vijayalakshmi decided to quit acting. Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu, who introduced Vijayalakshmi to the film industry, offered her to share the screen space with the same team of Chennai 600028. Elated Viji agreed to do the project and has wrapped up her schedule. The film is titled, “Chennai 600028 II Innings” and is gearing up for the release. In the first part, Vijayalakshmi was seen as a school girl. She will be seen as a married lady in the sequel.
