Ranjith is a very famous and versatile south Indian singer. He has a vibrant personality and can make the crowd tap their feet with his energetic songs, can make them emotional with his soothing voice and is a mass entertainer. He was born on February 21, 1977. He is a very well-known playback singer and has worked for many films. He is mainly working for the Karnataka, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. Ranjith was born in a Malayali family, in Chennai. His family belongs to a small town, Kalluvazhi, Kerala. He is not only a singer but also plays various instruments which include guitar, piano, and mridangam.

These instruments helped him to broaden his horizon of music. He has also composed music for a famous show called PANCHAMUKHI. PANCHAMUKHI is a dance production which includes styles like Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam, Kathakali and different types of folk dances performed by trained dancers. He is also a part of the band DRISHTI. DRISHTI has participated in many immense events and has shared with singers like KK, Colonial brothers, Pritam.
