Her troupe Mahalakshmi Ladies Drama Group has recently completed its 25 years in the Tamil theatre world and is still prominent in raising pro woman causes through this eminent media. She has been awarded ‘Kalaimamani’ award, which is given for excellence in the field of art and literature.
