Devi Priya made her debut appearance in the series Sakthi in which she worked with Bhanu Priya. She shot to fame with this serial, and she got many offers pouring in her way. She is best known for her appearance in the serial ‘Bharathiraja,’ in which she plays the character of a cop. She felt quite excited about playing the role of a cop. Since her childhood, she had wanted to become a cop, as she says this role has fulfilled her desire to live the life of a cop.
