Aavudai has 3 sons and one daughter who is Chellama. They hail from a normal family and struggle a lot to earn their bread daily in a small village in Tamil Nadu. They start a small motel which becomes a grand success overnight due to the culinary skills of the team. Now Aavudai wanted to become a successful entrepreneur. But Thavasi does not like this and is jealous. So he plans many ways to stop this. Aavudai seeks help of Thavasi to invest in the hotel business, but Thavasi rejects his appeal. Later Aavudai gets help from his only sister who pledges her jewels for this purpose. The hotel business picks up well and Aavudai’s family becomes wealthy now. Chellama is married now and the family story goes on.

Meanwhile, Thavasi wants to create problem and hence brings a girl to create a problem with Aavudai’s family, as he knows that Vadaimalai can be easily seduced. The final stages of the serial goes good as Chellama gains hand over Thavasi and the serial ends on a good note. The serial ended on 18th January 2013. The serial had about 845 episodes in total.
