Kanya Bharathi or popularly known as Kanya is a popular television actress in Tamil and Malayalam Television Serial industry. She was born and brought up in kerala but got settled in Chennai for the past 20 years. She came to tinsel town serial industry in her early teen. Her most noteable serial is “ Amma”, a Malayalam serial aired on Asianet TV.

A drama based serial in itself, it is based on the family of Govinda and Subadra. They have 3 sons and a daughter called Ponnu. Krithika is one of the successful actresses from the serial Metti Oli which was later dubbed into telugu as Mettala Savvadi. Metti Oli directed by Thirumurugan has helped many people gain popularity.The dubbed version also received huge response. Krithika played performed a soft role in Metti Oli. Her character Arundhathi was very differently described in this serial. She is forced to marry her company staff Vishwa, for whom she has high respect. But as she was unable to forget her lover, she will leave Vishwa and go back towith her lover. She did her role perfectly without any over acting.
