Poovilangu Mohan is one of the veterans in Tamil television industry and has acted in several serials and has many film roles to his name. His nickname Poovilangu Mohan stuck to him because of the impressive role he played in the movie, “Poovilangu’. He has played in more than 100 movies in supporting roles. His first film was ‘Thaneer Thaneer’, but was recognized by the industry only after his role in ‘Poovilangu’ after which he was thought to go places. But he says, he has not performed to his potential and has not been getting opportunities to play strong, powerful roles.



He has played alongside almost all top stars of the cinema industry like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan,R.Sarath Kumar, Ajith Kumar, Prashanth, Madhavan, etc, yet he feels he has underachieved and would love to perform better roles if given a chance. Mohan feels the small screen has given him ample  has used his potential to the fullest and he feels happy about it. He has essayed pivotal roles in many serials in which he has starred.   

Director K. Balachander found his talent and often roped him in his movies and serials like Punnagai Mannan starring Kamal Hassan, etc. Movies like ‘Poovilangu’, ‘Punnagai Mannan’, ‘ Pagal Nilavu’ and ‘Amarkalam’ are close to his heart, he says. He has not only performed serious roles, but also light-hearted, comedy roles in serials like ‘Veetukku Veedu Looty’. ‘ Nadhaswaram’, ‘Ganga Yamuna Saraswathi’, ‘Veetukku Veedu Looty’ are some of the serials, that he says he has loved being a part of.

Bose Venkat Commonly Known as Venkat, is an Indian Tamil Film and Television Actor who often plays supporting roles. He was born on May 15, 1975 in Madras, Tamil Nadu. He is married to Malayalam film actress, Sonia on September 5, 2003. They have two sons named Rudraksh Venkat and Tejaswin Venkat and a daughter Bavatharani. When he was 17 years old, he came to Chennai and wished to be successful in films. But, he was unlucky at the start of his career, so he worked as auto rickshaw driver while doing some auditions.  He has been acting since 2001 after he got his big break in the popular Sun TV serial “Metti Oli”, where he played as Bose. He played the husband of one of the five daughters of a troubled father and pulled it off with ease and showed the audience what he was capable of. Impressed with his performance in “Metti Oli”, Director P. Bharathiraja offered him a negative role in the Tamil film, “Eera Nilam” in 2003 which didn’t make it big at the box office yet made an impact with other directors and producers. He has then gone on to act in many movies and serials and even voiced Atul Kulkarni in the Ajith Kumar starter “Veeram”, which was released in 2014.  Bose has essayed pivotal roles in movies like “ko”, “Singam”, “Dhaam Dhoom”, “Saroja” etc. He says his best experience was acting with Superstar Rajinikanth in the Tamil action-thriller film, “Sivaji” under the direction of Shankar in 2007. Although he played a negative role alongside Suman, his performance was showered with praises from all over. He was also part of the 2005 Tamil film, “Kannamma” under the direction of S.s.Baba Vikram. He has also acted in a few Malayalam movies alongside Mammootty and Dilip. Vijay Adhiraj

Vijay Adhiraj is a famous Tamil TV anchor, television actor, film star and director. He is widely known for his vibrant presenting and competing on reality shows and versatile acting. He first made his first appearance in a small role in the 1999 movie, ‘Ponnu Veettukkaran’. After that he played a more substantial role in ‘Roja Koottam’ alongside Srikanth and then in the same year he went on to act with Jothika, Ramba and Laila in the women-strong ‘Three Roses’ and ‘Pathi Rathiri Bayangaram’ which didn’t make it big at the box office.  He ventured into direction after a long wait as advised by his friends including Crazy Mohan and materialized his script into ‘Puthagam’ a low-key film that saw Sathya in the lead role. Puthagam was released in 2013. Before venturing into the direction he has played anchor to many shows on TV and also played the lead role in the television serial ‘Lakshmi’. He has done 48 serials that include ten mega serials in the 14 years he has been in the industry and has tried his hand at production as well. He produced the Kannada and Tamil remake of the Telugu film, ‘Anukokonda Oka Roju’ that he produced along with his friends Ravichandran and Sangeeth Sivan.  He fell in love and married Rachna, a long-time friend turned lover and the couple has two daughters, Laya and Lasya. Vijay and Rachna participated together in Jodi Number One - a dance reality show on Vijay TV. Rachna is a skilled dancer trained in various art forms like Odissi, Kathakali, Kathak, etc. and they went on to go to the finals of the show in its first season, but unfortunately, ended runners-up.
