D7 is an Indian web series. Web series is a new form of shows in which the story is divided into a definite number of episodes and is then made available on online portals. Some examples of these online portals are Netflix, Prime Video, Zee5, Disney+hotstar. D7 falls under the category of romantic drama. The story of the show follows a couple, Sachin and Isai, who are in a live-in relationship. Everything is going well for them when one day Isai meets with an accident and is rushed to the hospital. She goes into ICU. Sachin rushes to the hospital when the news hits him and has to spend some days in the hospital itself. It is then the story flashes back in time to show how they came to be in a relationship.

Sachin and Bharath are good friends and Sachin accompanies Bharath to see a girl for him with him and his family. They all go to Pondicherry. Bharath likes the girl and the engagement is fixed. While Bharath returns with his family, Sachin makes some excuse to stay back and starts chasing Bharath’s fiancé. Isai is the best friend of the fiancé and confronts Sachin as to why he is doing this. When Sachin tells her the truth, she develops a soft corner for him. It is then that both of them start falling for each other. The rest of the story follows the couple as they move in together. The show focuses on the themes of love, friendship, suffering, etc. The show is divided into eight episodes with each of them running for 20 minutes approximately. The show debuted on Zee5 in February 2019. The show is very popular among the young audience.
