Arjun Sarja

Arjun Sarja was born as Srinivasa Sarja. He is an Indian film director as well as an actor. Arjun Sarja was born on 15th of August in the year 1964 to a Kannada film actor Shakti Prasad J. C. Arjun Sarja's father always disagreed in letting him enter the film world as he himself has been an experienced actor and he did not want his son get into an acting career.

But he could not go against his son's destiny and at last he gave the permission to Sarja at the age of 14 to make his first film debut as a child actor after the film producer Rajendra Singh Babu convinced him for his Kannada film "Simhada Mari Sainya" which was a children's film. After this movie, he got his screen name "Arjun".

During the 1980s his career of acting went to the peak because of which he had to work more than six shifts in a day as he had given commitment to many films. His first directed film was "Sevagan" a crime thriller Tamil movie of 1992 which was a great success. He is married to a former Kannada actress Asha Rani Asha Rani is a popular Kannada movie and TV actres >> Read More... and he is a father of two daughters, Aishwarya and Anjana. Aishwariya is also an actress.
