‘Martin’ In Deep Trouble?

Dhruva Sarja’s ‘Martin’ is in the news, but definitely not for the right reasons.

Made on a huge budget of 150 crores, ‘Martin’ was touted to be the much needed oxygen for the ailing Sandalwood industry, which is yet to see a major commercial success this year, let alone repeat the records of movies like ‘ KGF Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, ‘Kantara’ etc.

However, the results turned out to be the exact opposite. Despite the heavy publicity, ‘Martin’ is turning out to be another dud like R. Chandru’s ‘Kabzaa’, with a mere collection of 15 crores compared to the budget of 150 crores. Unless the movie sees a turnaround in the next few weeks, the movie will sink without a trace at the box office.

However, that is not the only reason why ‘Martin’ is in trouble. The makers are now accused of stifling any kind of dissent against the movie.
