Plot
Agathiya is an art director. He makes a vast set for a film, which was later abandoned by the financier in the mid-way. However, Agathiya wants to earn with his set and make it with a spooky theme. Soon, his girlfriend finds an old piano on the premises. As soon as she starts playing the piano, something supernatural starts occurring. Soon, with an old film reel, Agathiya finds out the history of the building in the 40s during French rule in Pondicherry. In the 40s, Siddharthan, a Siddha practitioner, treats Matylda, the sister of Duplex, the colony’s chief administrator. Matylda, who was immobilized, turned almost normal with Siddharthan’s healing abilities. Soon, Agathiya finds out that Siddharthan, who lived in the past, and the building has some connection. He believes that Siddharthan may have the power to cure his mother’s cancer. What did he do to approach Siddharthan? Is Siddharthan alive or in a spirit form? The rest of the film speaks about these.
Star Performance
Jiiva excelled well in the role. His expressions in the scene when he thinks to approach Siddharthan to cure his mother’s disease are fine. Arjun captivates the audience with his screen presence. The confidence of the character and Arjun’s body language are astounding. Edward’s performance is quite decent.
Analysis
It is a simple story with two different timelines. The VFX works are fantastic, giving the audience a good visual extravaganza. The editing should have been a little crisper. Another minus point is the dialogue given to the non-Indian characters. Though Edward’s performance is neat, some of his scenes look exaggerated with the accents. The climax portions are fantastically made with the VFX. Though there may be some logical loopholes in those portions, it impresses the audiences with its stunning visuals. The music is quite good.

Verdict
Despite the logical loopholes here and there, especially in the climax, the film attracts the audience with its performances and VFX. It is watchable once! A decent attempt by "Pa Vijay" and his team!
