His father was also a chef. Now he is married to Shruthi Rangaraj and has two sons. He completed schooling from Alandhurai Government High School and Sri Gopal Naidu Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore and later joined Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore.
