Plot
The script is one that has not been touched before in Indian cinema; Shah Rukh plays the role of a Superstar, Aryan, who has ardent followers including Gaurav. Gaurav is obsessed with Aryan and one day goes to meet his preferred actor. There happens the twist; how the obsession of the hardcore fan turns out to be? Watch it to know how the movie progresses.

is just outstanding in his tailor-made role of a self-made matinee idol. He plays the character that is close to his life and nails it with his awesome performance. He mesmerizes us as Aryan, the superstar. His earnest performance is visible in every scene.. But as the die-hard fan Gaurav, though he does well, it seems as though he is overacting. But this can be forgiven given the point that the character needs such over-the-top performance. Overall, he has maintained an intelligent balance between the two characters.

Fan is a perfect treat for Shah Rukh’s fans.  Also, the director Maneesh Sharma has done a great job in dealing with an unusual script.
