Padam Bhushan

Padam Bhushan is a producer and actor, based in India, who is mostly famous for the movie ‘ Chak De! India Click to look into! >> Read More... (2007)’. Not only this film, but he has made many such other world class movies also. Bhushan completed his study from Guru Nanak High School, Dadar (Bombay) in 1987. He then went for higher studies from S.I.W.S.N.R. Swamy College of Commerce and Economics, Wadala (Bombay). He completed Bachelor of Commerce and Economics. Padam Bhushan had a great experience of volunteering. In March (1996), he worked for the organization “CRY”.

He, through a bunch of theatre and street-theatre performances, spread awareness among the citizens about the issues including child labor. The group which helped in all these, is none other than “Naujawan-E-Hind”. Padam Bhushan himself was the Performer, Director, and Conductor of this organization. He played a big role for this group in May (1992). In September (2015), he was busy with “Save the Children”. It emphasised on to secure children’s health.

For one month, without taking any rest, he organized many Street-play workshop. In 2001, he did the Diploma in Photography from Indian Photo Academy. After completing his education, he became the Production Manager and Associate Director of Metavision Pvt. Ltd; it was 1996 then. Up to 2000, for four years, he kept contributing to the company. It was near Mumbai area. For three years, he was the Manager of ‘Lata Mangeshkar-Live in Concert’. It took places throughout the world, including United States of America, Canada, and Mumbai.

The following two years he was the Senior Executive Officer of ‘Yash Raj Films Pvt. Ltd.’ Recently, he is the guest lecturer of University of Mumbai (Department of Film Studies, Communication, and Journalism). From 2004, he entered into the world of filmography. He started his career as a line producer of the movie ‘Veer-Zaara’. He was the executive producer of the film ‘Salaam Namaste (2005)’.

In this film, he also acted in the role of a chef. ‘Fanaa (2006)’ and ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008)’ were his other two creation.
