, if he could shift the date of his most awaited project a little.
But why? The C Sankaran Nair biopic is set to release on Holi, i.e. 14 March 2025. The gap between the movie and Akshay’s next movie, ‘Jolly LLB 3’ is very less, since ‘Jolly LLB 3’ will be releasing around 10 April, or even earlier.
If that happens, Karan Johar’s C Sankaran Nair biopic will not get the desired theatrical run. Moreover, the schedule will be extremely cluttered for Akshay Kumar as well. This is why Karan Johar wants an amicable solution, and it is unlikely that Akshay Kumar will refuse this suggestion.
As of now, both Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar need a major commercial success individually. Unless we Akshay’s cameo in ‘Stree 2’ and Karan Johar’s initiative to distribute the action thriller ‘Kill’, both haven’t seen a major commercial success since 2021. Karan Johar’s recent attempt as producer for ‘Jigra’ also ended in a commercial failure, as the film has collected only 41 crores worldwide on a budget of 90 crores.
