Anupam Roy is an Indian lyricist who worked for the Bengali film industry. He was born on 29th March 1982 in Kolkata, West Bengal, and a multi-talented singer, lyricist, composer, and playback singer. Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao and Benche Thakar Gaan was his first debut and was appeared on the soundtrack of the 2010 Bengali movie Autograph. He also worked for the Bollywood film Piku in 2015 and was his first Bollywood debut. Anupam released his fourth studio album Ebar Morle Gachh Hawbo on 14th February 2017 and consists of songs like Amar Shohor, Oestrogen, Rock n Roll, Choiter Kafon, and Byatha Lage.
As a singer and songwriter he worked in movies like Second Sex in 2013, Bela BoyeJaay in 2020, Ocean Calls My Name in 2021, Bhalo Theko 19 in 2020, Manush BhaloNei in 2021, and many others. He also received many awards in several awards functions like Anandalok Special Jury Awards, Bangla Sangeet Awards, Star Jalsa Entertainment Awards, Star Ananda Shera Bengali Awards, Mirchi Music Awards Bangla, West Bengal Film Journalist Associations Awards, and many others. Anupam also worked in books, newspapers, graphic novels, and documentaries.
