Namrata Rao is an Indian movie editor who was born on the 15th of April in the year 1981. Namrata was born to a Dehli middle-class family, she managed to obtain a degree in IT but decided to leave the field to pursue film. Namrata started her career as a graphic designer and worked with NDTV for some time, before she decided to study a film making at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata.

After she graduated, Namrata edited movies, short films, and documentaries, she became famous for her work on Love Sex Aur Dhokha the movie got her first Filmfare Awards.

Throughout her career Namrata has won Best Editing award for various Awards these include; Filmfare Awards, IIFA Awards, Times of India Film Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Colors Screen Awards, and National Film Awards The National Film Awards gets presented every year >> Read More...
