James Marshall

James Marshall was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, and grew up in the Vancouver area. He has integrated his love of art and business into a 35-year successful career in the film industry. He is a proud member of the Directors Guild of America and the Directors Guild of Canada. James is a famous producer and television director, who has won several awards.  He has directed more than 100 episodes of TV series, including ‘Into the Badlands’, ‘The Shannara Chronicles’, ‘Falling Sky’, ‘Smallville’ and ‘Dead Like Me’.

He has also produced more than 170 TV series. James is the producer/director of the award-winning WB series ‘Small Prequels’; one of the few series that has been broadcast for ten consecutive years. He joined the series at the beginning of the first season, directed 26 episodes throughout the series, and became an executive producer in the fifth season. James recently had the honor of being the executive producer of the "Legend of Hanuman" animation series, which has just premiered in India and received rave reviews.
