Born on July 25, 1953, Yogendra Tiku is a Television, stage, and a film actor. He was born and raised in Allahabad. His roles in various movies like No One Killed Jessica and Queen received much appreciation from the public. Apart from doing stage and television shows, Yogendra is a trained classical singer as well. He learned the art of singing from Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya of Ahmedabad. Yogendra started working at theaters from childhood. As a child artist, he started working with a group named Prayag Rang Manch of Allahabad. After that, his acting career took a fly, and he was offered roles in famous productions like Panchi Aise Aate Hain, Khamosh Adalat Jari Hai, Andheri Nagri Chaupat Raja and Bahhut Bada Sawal. His performance in Bahut Bada Sawal and Andher Nagri Chaupat Raja was noted and appreciated by most of the viewers. He then shifted to Nairobi and worked in different Hindi, Gujrati and Punjabi play for eight years.
After working in small theater plays, Yogendra joined a professional English theater group which were called the Pheonix Players. The Pheonix players offered him roles in some plays like The Taming of the Shrew, The Noble Spaniard and Moon on the Rainbow Shawl. That was the turning point in Nairobi’s life because after returning from Nairobi, he was offered roles in plays Rang Bhoomi and Omar Khayyam. He has shown his singing talent in many jingles and was also associated with many radio plays. Yogendra was also associated with the All India Radio for many years. He has done some television advertisements. Some of his famous modeling works include advertisements for various brands like Max New York Life Insurance, Coca-Cola, Britannia Biscuits and Fortune Oil. Some of his small screen appearances include Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai, Shadow on the Sun and
in Bhopal. Yogendra is known for his work in Queen, where he played the role of Kangana Ranaut’s father. His filmography includes movies like Everybody Says I’m Fine, No One Killed Jessica, Losing Gemma,
