Taylor Swift is the big name in the music industry; everyone knows about her talent. On December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania Taylor Swift was born. Her family named her after a singer named James Taylor. Scott Kingsley, Swift father of Taylor Swift is a financial advisor. And her mother Andrea Gardner Swift is a homemaker, previously she use to work as a mutual fund marketing executive. She has a brother named Austin. Swift started loving music from the age of nine and started attending musical theater and also started performing in four Berks Youth Theatre Academy productions. Swift got inspiration to choose music as her career after watching a documentary about faith hill. And she travelled to Nashville, Tennessee for pursuing her music career at an age of 14. In 2003, she along with her family started working for New York-based music manager Dan Dymtrow. She signed an artist development deal with RCA Records. She was damn interested in country music so, her first album Taylor Swift was full of country music. It was released on 13 October 2006. Her album got good reviews from the critic as well as from the audiences. She was praised for her voice and her words were been praised. When her first album got released she was just 16 year old. In 2007 and 2008 her four new singles came; and among them ‘Our Song’ and ‘Shouldn’t have said no’ became country chartbusters. And her another single ‘Tear drop on my Guitar’ climbed up to number 13 on Billboard 100. The got its 39,000 copies sold just in one week after release. In 2007 she released her next album ‘Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection’. And her third album ‘Beautiful Eye’ got released in July 2008. For this she won the Academy of Country Music Awards Top New Female Vocalist award and Favorite Country Female Artist honor from the American music award. She also gained nomination in 2008 Grammy award in Best new artist category.

Her next album Fearless got released on November 11, 2008. Taylor Swift alone wrote 7 songs for this album. Her next album Red, which was her fourth studio album released on October 22, 2012. She again wrote the songs for her album but this time only nine out of 16 songs. This was a huge commercial hit and its lead song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” became her first song to top on Billboard 100. And the remaining singles like "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble" became highly successful. She co-wrote "Sweeter Than Fiction" with Jack Antonoff for the One Chance movie soundtrack, and received a Best Original Song nomination at the 71st Golden Globe Awards. Red was nominated in four categories in 2013 Grammy but unfortunately could not win any. But her "I Knew You Were Trouble" manages to win Best Female Video at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2014 she released her most successful album till now “1989”, it became the highest selling album of the 2014. This time she wrote only one song for her album. Most of the songs from the album became chartbuster; song ‘Shake it Off’ became number on Billboards 100. ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Bad Blood’ became highly successful in U.S. Swift was named Billboard's Woman Of Year in 2014, becoming the first artist to be awarded this title twice.
