The Giver Trailers,Teasers, Video & Songs

The Giver is a sci-fi film based on a novel of the same name written by Lois Lowry. The story revolves around an utopian world where there is no war or suffering. The movie received a nomination from the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Movie. The trailer shows off a dull and muted world that people live in, after the removal of the past memories from the mind of all the citizens of the community, except one, The Receiver of Memory.

The clips from the movie as seen in the short video gives us a captivating view of the memory rush as experienced by Jonas. The narrative progression in the trailer builds an amazing suspense and makes us question what is wrong and keeps us further engaged. The movie stars some distinguished actors including Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Katie Holmes, Alexander Skarsgard, and Marco Beltrami. The spectacular performances by Brenton Thwaites and Odeya Rush gave intensity to the story. The movie, though it differs a little from the book, does the plot justice in its characterization and visual stimulation.
