Prince Rogers Nelson was a singer, actor and musician from America. He was born on 7th June 1958. The father of Prince used to play the piano and write songs. His mother was a singer of Jazz. The profession of his parents must have inspired him to follow their footsteps. He initialized his career in the year 1975. He became a part of the band called 94 East and used to work on tracks of guitar. He then got a contract with the Warner Bros. company and released his debut album with the title For You, which was a hit. He also formed aband along with Andre Cymone, Dez Dickerson, Gayle Chapman, Doctor Fink, and Bobby Z. His next album was named Prince and topped many lists like his first album. He did a series of Albums after this like Dirty Mind, Controversy, Emancipation, and 1999. During the years 1984 and 1987, he renamed his band as Revolution. Soon, he got a chance to act in his autobiographical motion picture titled Purple Rain, which won an Academy Award.

The album of the songs in the film sold millions of copies. Another of his album, Parade reached to the number three of Billboard. Very soon, he starred in his second movie, Under the Cherry Moon, which he directed too. During 1987 and 1991, he disbanded his group and started recording singles such as Camille, Sign O’ The Times, The Black Album and Lovesexy. He then collaborated with Madonna on a few songs. He was asked to create music for the live-action movie Batman too, which was a hit among people. In 1991, he gave birth to a band with the name The New Power Generation. He made many albums with this group. Some of the famous ones are Diamonds and Pearls and Love Symbol Album. In protest against the Warner Bros. Company, he changed his name to a symbol, which was the combination of the female and male symbol. It later came to be known as the Love Symbol. Without the Warner Bros company, he got very active and gave any hit recordings in the years between 1994 and 2000.

These were The Gold Experience, Chaos and Disorder, and Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic. In 2000, he dropped his name as the Love Symbol and adopted his birth name again. Shortly after, he released his live debut collection of songs titled One Nite Alone.Live! In the month of November of 2006, he was honored with a membership for the United Kingdom Music Hall of Fame. He created a song titled The Song Click to look into! >> Read More... of the Heart for the animated movie Happy Feet, which won a Golden Globe Award. He formulated a collection of songs titled in 2007, and it became very popular. He got honored with an inclusion in the Time magazine’s sequence of Hundred Most Influential People in the World in the year 2010. His second last album, Hit n Run Phase One released in 2015. His last album, a continuation of the earlier one was called Hit n Run Phase Two. He died on the 12th of April 2016.
