Beyonce

With her music, she mesmerizes people. With her dance, she can perfectly draw the attention of the audience. With her facial expressions, she can make the other side feel what she wants to convey. She is the African-American singer, Beyonce. Beyonce Giselle Knowles, famously known to the music lovers and the world as Beyonce, took birth on September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas, USA. She is also popular with another name, Beyonce Knowles-Carter. Her mother, Celestine Knowles, is the owner of a saloon. Her father, Mathew Knowles, is a sales manager in Xerox. Her sister, Solange, is also a well-known singer. She went to St. Mary's Montessori School, Houston. She enrolled into dancing, but her teacher, Darlette Johnson, predicted that Beyonce can do well in singing when compared to dancing. Later, she attended different schools like Parker Elementary School, where she grabbed every opportunity to sing. That's the reason why she reached to such incredible heights in the future.

Beyonce, along with few girls, formed a group, and her father Mathew, used to look after them. They renamed it later to Destiny’s Child, in 1996. Their first song was Killing Time in the 1997 movie, Men In Black. Then, they came up with their debut album titled, No No No, in 1998. This album got a reasonable response and won many awards. Their next album, The Writing's on the Wall, was released in 1999. This album was a critical and commercial hit, and won a few awards at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. Marc Nelson assisted Beyonce in making After All Is Said and Done, for the 1999 movie, The Best Man. After this cinema, there were some internal clashes in the team and Beyonce went into depression. Her boyfriend too left her. They went to such an extreme that finally Franklyn had to go out of the team and continued with Beyonce, and two others. After some great work, they released, Independent Women Part 1. It appeared in Charlie's Angels, which made records in the lists.

Then, they released their third album, Survivor, which gained them a Grammy Award for Best Performance by a Group. Later, she had all hits including 8 Days Of Christmas, Work It Out, etc.

Coming to her personal life, Beyonce married rapper Jay-Z in 2008, and they gave birth to a child in 2012. Beyonce and Jay-Z appeared on the same album, The Blueprint 2: The Gift And The Curse. They are politically inclined towards Barack Obama and campaigned for the 2012 Presidential Elections.
