Simon Pegg

Simon Pegg is an English actor, producer, screenwriter, and comedian born on February 14, 1970. He was born in Brockworth, Gloucestershire to Gillian Rosemary and John Henry Beckingham. His mother was a civil servant, while his father was a jazz musician and also a keyboard salesman. His parents divorced when he was very young; hence he was given the name "Pegg" from his stepfather.

He did his schooling from The King's School, Gloucester, and Brockworth Comprehensive Secondary School. He studied literature and theater at Stratford-upon-Avon College. He graduated with BA in theaters, film, and television in 1991 from University of Bristol. Pegg has done many television shows between 1998 and 2004, such as "Asylum," Faith in the Future," Six Pairs of Pants, "Hippie" and “Big Train."
