Rex Smith

Rex Smith is an actor and singer in America. He was born on 19th September 1995. He started his career from the Broadway play Grease in 1978. He played the role of Jesse Mach in television series Street Hawk This was an American tv series which was dubbed in >> Read More... . He was the first actor to play the Marvel Comics superhero Daredevil in live-action. During the late 1970s, he was famous as a teen idol.

He has participated in all mediums from Broadway, Film & Television to Producing his One man show. He captivated both critics and audiences and received the Theater World Award for his memorable portrayal of Frederick in "The Pirates of Penzance" on Broadway.

He has appeared in other Broadway, and Off-Broadway productions, including The Scarlet Pimpernel, Grand Hotel, The Human Comedy, and Annie Get Your Gun. In 2018, he played Billy Mack, an aging rock star, in the world-premiere production of a film. He has two son named - Brandon and Gatsby and three daughters named - Meagan, Madison, and Savannah. He was married to Courtney Schrag. In the early 1970s, he was the lead singer for a band from Athens, Georgia named Phaedra.

He sang vocals in a hard rock band called Rex. In 1981, he hit the top 40 again with a remake of "Everlasting Love," in a duet with singer Rachel Sweet. He is the brother of Michael Lee Smith, the singer of rock band Starz. He also starred as Frederic in the New York Shakespeare Festival's Central Park production of The Pirates of Penzance. A one-of-a-kind stage production performed live with an all-star cast and 15-piece orchestra immersing the singers and musicians in a cinematic spectacle at The Wallis in Beverly Hills.
