Radivoje Bukvic

Radivoje Rasha Bukvic is a Hollywood actor from Serbia. He was born on 11 November, 1979 in the Serbian city of Sombor. He mostly plays bad guys on the silver screen, with his prominent appearances being as mobsters or gang members. His first role in a hit Hollywood film was in Taken, a 2008 film that did so well at the box office that it ended up grossing more than ten times its original budget, despite being planned originally as a DVD only release. His role in the movie was a small one, as he played a pimp who was a part of the mob. He is eventually killed off by Bryan Mills, the character portrayed by Liam Neeson in a car chase scene. He had a minor role in another Liam Neeson starrer Run All Night released in 2015. In this movie, he plays an Albanian gangster named Viktor Grezda, who is quickly killed off. He featured more prominently in A Good Day to Die Hard, the fifth installment of the well known Die Hard series.

In this film, he plays the role of Alik, the right-hand man to Viktor Chagarin, the main antagonist of the movie. Unlike Taken and Run All Night, this film saw him receive a higher billing and more screen time to display his acting chops. Unfortunately, the movie was not at all well-received by critics, with some proclaiming that it is the weakest offering of the Die Hard series. But the movie did fine in box office collections by making nearly three times its original budget. 2015 also saw Bukvic star in The Transporter Refueled, which is a reboot of the original series featuring Jason Statham.

He received star billing in the film and played the role of Arkady Karasov, a Russian mobster who is responsible for committing some heinous crimes some fifteen years before the timeline followed in the movie. Once again, the film was disliked by critics but did decent box office numbers. He also had a small role in the 2016 film Our Kind of Traitor.
