Nick Frost is a British writer, actor, comedian and producer. Nicholas John Frost was born on 28th March 1972 in Dagenham, East London. His parents were office furniture designers. He had an elder sister, who died because of an asthma attack when she was 18; Nick was ten at that time.
When he turned 15, they lost their home due to the failure of their family business. His mother was in a continuous stressful situation which resulted in having a stroke; by such a turnaround Nick decided to support his family, so he left the school and started working at a shipping company.
Later, he went to Israel for 14 months, where worked at Kibbutz. After coming back, he worked at a Mexican restaurant as a cook, waiter and bartender for about six years. They have a son. They got divorced in 2013.
Before making big with the TV comedy series ‘Spaced’ (1999-2001) written by Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes, Nick worked in ‘Chris Carter’ and ‘The Coverplan Challenge’, the Dixons sales videos. In 2002, Nick hosted the show ‘Danger! 50,000 Volts!’, which he had written too. Then, he wrote another drama the same year and also acted in that with Matt King; the show was ‘The Sofa of Time’.
Then in the year 2004, Nick did a film ‘Shaun of The Dead’, a zombie romantic comedy, with Simon Pegg. Nick won the Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actor and was nominated in British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer.
