He is a well-known actor, director and narrator. He was born in Tennessee, U.S. on January 1, 1937. He attended his class from Broad Street High School also known as Threadgill Elementary School in Mississippi. His all-time-dream was to become a fighter pilot. This is the reason why he turned down the scholarship after winning a drama competition. He worked as Automatic Tracking Radar Repairman and as Airman First Class. He worked as a clerk in LA City College. He is also training that time as an opera dancer. He was married twice with Jeanette Adair Bradshaw from 1967 to 1979 and got divorced. He got married again on 1984 to 2010 with Myrna Colley-Lee.
