Batman” for the 2016 movie “Dawn of Justice.” The script – “Tell me…do you bleed?...” might supersede “Optimus Prime’s” collaborative voice over and could be his famous script now as the “cape-crusader” alter-ego of Bruce Wayne. It might be the biggest twist of role in Hollywood history.
Born as Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, from California - U.S. on August 15, 1972. His father Timothy Affleck was an actor and theatre manager for Theatre Company – Boston and her mother worked as director for information in Museum of Modern Art –
New York. He and his brother Casey was raised in Cambridge after they separated from his father. They were often encouraged by their mother to create their own home movies and audition for any open slots in anyway. Affleck was Matt Damon’s childhood friend. They both studied at Cambridge Rindge and Latin. They both worked as usherettes and construction workers. This way, they saved money for their joint bank account for their travel expenses for audition in New York. He studied at University of Vermont and Occidental College. He dropped-out once he heard about his professor’s drafts in one of his known movies. He first appeared in 1981’s ‘Dark “Side of the Street” and “The Voyage of the Mimi” in 1984. He married Jennifer Garner in 2005 with 3 children.
He made various TV-Series roles and films including “School Ties” and “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” both filmed in 1992. These were followed by numerous supporting roles but he made a mature role in critically-acclaimed own-written “Good Will Hunting” with his long-time friend Matt Damon, Robin Williams and Stellan Skarsgard in 1997. Affleck and Damon received and shared “Original Screenplay” from Academy Awards and Satellite Awards. He made a small-supporting role for the movie “Shakespeare in Love” in 1998 but made a big leap as “A.J. Frost” in illustrious “Armageddon.” From this year, he made different films and made another blockbuster hit in historic-action-drama film “Pearl Harbor” in 2001 and made another entertaining twisted-film “The Sum of All Fears” in 2002. He was also the blind-superhero-vigilante “Daredevil” with Jennifer Garner and sci-fi movie “Paycheck” and “Jersey Girl.” He was one of the casts for the star-studded movie “He’s Just Not That Into You”, a movie with
Russell Crowe “State of Play” and “Extract” all in 2009. He made two movies in 2010 entitled “
The Company Men” and co-written by himself “
The Town.” He made another collaborative film and co-produced with
George Clooney “
Argo” that received awards from major film critics and award giving bodies in 2012. They got the “Best Picture” from Academy, “Movie of the Year” from American Film Institute, “Best Direction” and “Best Film” from BAFTA , “Outstanding Directing” from Directors Guild, and Golden Globe Awards. He made 2 films named “To The Wonder” and co-starred with
Justin Timberlake in the movie “
Runner Runner” both in 2013. He made a crime-thriller film “
Gone Girl” in 2014, the March 2016 premiere of “Dawn of Justice” and DC Comics’ “
