Kirstie Alley is a US based actress. She is a versatile actress seen in comedy as well as serious roles. But she is more famous in the show biz as a comedian. She is also a spokesmodel. She was born in the city of Wichita, Kansas which is situated in the United States. Her father Robert Deal Alley is a business man who owned a lumber company while her mother Lillian Mickie is a home-maker. The actress is the sibling of sister Collete and Brother Craig. She has done her education from Wichita Southeast High School and Kansas State University respectively. She is an interior designer by qualification and is known to follow Scientology. We have witnessed her presence on game shows like Match Game (1979) and Password Plus (1980). She was the winner of the game show Match Game and won 6000 dollars. Later, in 1980, her father and mother met with an accident which killed her mother while her father recovered from grievous injuries. Alley married her high school sweetheart in the year 1970 but the marriage unfortunately only could last seven years. The reason for their separation was their different choice of career. After this, Alley found like-mindedness and love with Parker Stevenson, and they got married in the year 1983. The couple is fortunate parents of two children William and Lillie. They both got divorced in the year 1997 and then shared custody of both the children.

Alley made her debut in the year 1982 with the movie called Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Alley portrayed the character of Saavik. She again participated in the 15th season of the show but, unfortunately, ended up eliminated as the seventh couple from the show. When Alley found herself in addiction of drugs, she found the solution to it in following Scientology (1979) though she was a Methodist. Her decision helped her, and she was free from the addiction. The actress still follows the religion.
