James Mcavoy was born on 21 April 1979, in Glasgow, Scotland. His mother Elizabeth a nurse and his father Senior James McAvoy a bus driver. Since his father abandoned him at his early age, his grandfather helped his mother to grow him. He had a High school band when he was studying at St. Thomas Aquinas in Jordanhill.
