John Pogue is a United States based director, writer and producer. He uses his skills as a film producer, screenwriter and film director. He graduated from the Yale University. He started his journey in Hollywood in the year 1998. He is recognized for his work as a writer in the film, ‘U.S. Marshals’ which was released in 1998. U.S. Marshalls, the 1998 flick was about the chase of a prison escapee who was convicted of murder and robbery by a Marshall and his officers. In the year 2000, John Pogue wrote a crime drama called ‘The Skull’ which revolved around a Harvard aspirant who ended up joining a secret elitist fraternity group in the hopes of gaining a seat at the prestigious university.

The main character in this crime drama is of Luke McNamara. John also co-wrote the screenplay of the flick ‘Ghost Ship’ which was released in the year 2002. The story was about the discovery of the remnants of an abandoned ship by a ship crew. They finally decide to tow the ship back to the harbor and surprisingly they later discover that it’s a vessel for demonic activity. Pogue also has worked on writing and directing of the flick ‘Quarantine 2: Terminal’, which was released in the year 2011. It’s a gripping story about a plane that gets affected by a mysterious virus and has to undergo quarantine. It is a paranormal-esque horror, where the main lead is a messed up Oxford University professor who is persistent on finding the spirit that surrounds his subjects. The movie is set to release on the 10th of April in the year 2017. Some other flicks that John Pogue worked on are ‘The Fast and the Furious’ in which he was the Executive producer. He wrote the 2002 release ‘Rollerball’ and in the same year came up with the sequel of ‘The Skulls’ named ‘The Skulls II’. In 2017, he is directing ‘Brother’s Blood’ which is currently in its post-production. One of his directorial ventures ‘Wake’, which was set to release in 2017, got canceled. Furthermore, he is working on a project called ‘Ciudad’ which he is directing.
