Brigid Tierney

Brigid Tierney was born on July 7th in 1985 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She happens to be an actor and director and is very well known for Affliction (1997), The Paperboy Click to look into! >> Read More... (1994), and Rainbow (1995). She also has a master’s in Cultural Studies and Communication.

In 1999, Brigid received an award at the Young Artist Awards for Affliction (1997) as ‘The Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actress).

The young artist started at the raw age of 11 when she worked on her first project ever as a voice actor for the character of Jenna Morgan.

Since then, she has worked on numerous other projects in her successful career. Some of her work is listed below:

Brigid Tierney’s many years of a decorated journey and work in the acting community isn’t the only feather in her cap. She also happens to be an active member of the “ Partners For Youth Empowerment” where she works tirelessly at the intersection of film, for better youth engagement in society and justice.

Tierney is an Associate Artist and Facilitator at the Branch Out Theatre, where she worked with YouthCo Aids Society in Vancouver. Her primary focus is the interconnection of diverse communities and emphasis on sexual wellbeing and overall wellness. She strives to attain the desired outcome through the help of theatre and play and make a positive move towards healing, growth, and space.
