She was born in a middle-class family. Her parents are Laura Campbell and Michael Thomas Berthold. North Shore High School and Columbia University are her Alma maters. She also enjoys playing guitar, cello, and piano. She is a lesbian and is extremely attached to her pet cat Nino Positano.

She is not a social media enthusiast. She wanted to become an astrophysicist and has a soft spot for quantum mechanics. She is also an expert in imitating various accents.
