Mayim Bialik

Bialik was born in 1975 in San Diego California.  Interestingly enough, Hayim Nahman Bialik is Mayim’s first cousin. Bialik was raised as a Jewish Reformist. Mayim Bialik attended Walter Reed Junior High School and eventually graduated from North Hollywood High School. Bialik had no desire to move to the East Coast and wanted to stay near home.  In 2007, Bialik earned her Ph.D. Biaik started her career in the late 80s. She had a role in the 1988 horror film Pumpkinhead and she also guest starred on Beauty and the Beast and Facts of Life. Bialik was able to obtain her Screen Actors Guild Card through her work on Beauty and the Beast. In 1990, Mayim was contracted to two different TV pilots, one being Molloy and the other being Blossom.  Molloy flopped early on but Blossom achieved high ratings and big success thus Mayim stuck with it. It aired until 1995. She made appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm as well as in the film Kalamazoo? In 2003 Bialik married Michael Stone. The wedding was a traditional Jewish wedding.
