Lauren was born in Philadelphia. Before moving to the United Kingdom, she was in New Jersey. She graduated from King Alfred's College. She studied Literature and drama in college. She, later on, toured with a theater company. Lauren then started working on films and even some non-commercial projects in London as well as in Los Angeles. Before deciding to act as her career. Career

Her major debut was with the film Casanova in 2005 as Sister Beatrice. In 2006, she was in ‘National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj' as Charlotte Higginson, which was the sequel to the National Lampoon's Van Wilder. She was next in the film Float in 2007. In 2010, she was in Death Race 2, alongside Danny Trejo and Sean Bean.
