Pauly Shore

Pauly Shore, also known as Paul Montgomery is an American citizen. He is a multi-talented personality and has worked as a comedian, actor, director, producer and even served as a writer. Pauly is famous for his work in numerous drama movies in the 1990s, which include Son in Law, Bio-Dome, and Encino Man. He has even served as a host for a video program which aired on MTV during the early 1990s.

His acting career suffered a severe decline in the late 1990s, after which he made an appearance occasionally in some films, and his major focus was on stand-up comedy. He was born as Paul Montgomery Shore, in the United States. His father Mitzi Shore was the founder of The Comedy Store. Shore was brought up as a Jewish in California. Shore completed his studies from the Beverly Hills High School. His father was a huge inspiration for him, and he always wanted to become like his father and so he took up a career in comedy line.

He started his career at a young age of 17 from the Alley Cat Bistro, which is in Culver City, as a stand-up comedian. While he was touring the comedy club circuit, he gave rise to his most famous fictitious name The Weasel. He is very well recognized by this name and even referred as Weasel by many in the industry. Shore got a big break when he made an entry as a VJ for a video program which aired on MTV during the early 1990s.

Due to this fame, he came up with his own program named Totally Pauly as the host. The show was one of the most impressive and the highest rated show amongst the programs which were aired on MTV. He even came up with a music album named Lisa, Lisa, and the One I Adore. While speaking of his film career, he has delivered many hit roles in his whole career span. He started off in 1990 with Encino Man. The movie was a huge hit which served as a good luck for Shore in the industry.

After Encino Man, things turn out wrong on Shore’s part. He did four movies Son in Law, Bio-Dome, Jury Duty and In the Army Now. All these movies failed miserably at the box office. The movies could not even reach the required budget of the movie. After such huge phase, he made an appearance occasionally in some films and his major focus was on stand-up comedy.

He had been part of a music video N 2 Gether Now by Limp Bizkit, famous rock band of America. In 2003, he gave direction, produced, and wrote for Pauly Shore Is Dead. He even played the main lead in the movie. In 2005 he appeared in the reality show Minding the Store. He has been seen in numerous short films and various projects along with the MTV, some of which include The Shores and different projects of Funny or Die.
