Penn Badgley

Penn Dayton Badgley was born on 1st November 1986 in the Baltimore County of Maryland, United States of America. He is 5 feet 8.5 inches tall. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Penn was raised by his parents, Duff Badgley and Lynne Murphy in the Woodlake city. His father Duff was the member of Green Party (Greens or GPUS) who contested the elections for the post of the Governor of Washington D.C. in 2008, and his mother Lynne was a carpenter and a reporter at a news agency.

Penn spent his early teen years in Virginia and later shifted to Seattle in his late teens. He did his schooling from the Woolridge Elementary school. His mother was the PTA President in his school. He then attended the St. Christopher’s School in Virginia where he joined the school soccer team. He did his high school from California High School. After finishing school, he joined the Charles Wright Academy (Tacoma) and also became a member of the Children’s Theatre in Seattle. He started working as a voice-over artist radio stations for children.

After High School, he enrolled himself at Santa Monica College. Next, he attended the Lewis & Clark College, Portland. His acting and singing career in Hollywood started at a young age of 11 when he moved there. His first single came out in 1998. He did his first professional voice work in 1999 for a video game (Mario Golf 64). He debuted on television in 2000 with the NBC sitcom, Will & Grace. He was part of only one episode of this show.

His first movie was a comedy film by Thomas Betty titled, John Tucker Must Die in 2006. In this film, he played the role of Scott Tucker, who was John Tucker’s brother. The movie was a great success and was ranked third at the USA box office. Penn gained massive popularity after he did the show by CW titled, Gossip Girl in 2007. He was cast to play the role of Daniel Dan Humphrey, who was the son of a famous singer Rufus Humphrey. He got a Jury Special Mention (lead actor) at the Manchester Film Festival and the Best Actor award at the Oxford Film Festival in 2016 for his role in the movie The Paper Store.
